American properties lead the pack, with Thai accommodation providers securing the top spot in Asia.
Bangkok, Thailand – This weekAgoda presented its 2022 Customer Review Awards to more than 36,000 properties in more than 150 markets that have strived for quality customer reviews (rated 8 or higher), in a year the world continued to face travel restrictions and international closures.
The Agoda Customer Reviews Awards are presented to hotel and lodging partners who have provided exceptional service to their customers, including exceptional pricing and availability. Properties must also use Agoda’s Yield Control System (YCS). This year, globally, Asia leads the region with 18,670 properties represented, followed by Europe and North America in second and third place respectively.
The United States becomes the market champion this year with 7,015 properties represented, followed by Thailand (4,343), Indonesia (2,590), Japan (2,053) and India (1,948) . Bangkok tops the list of winning destinations with 681 properties, while Bali is second (579), Paris third (498), Chiang Mai fourth (479) and Phuket (451) round out the top five.
